What the school offers its staff

Even though we are in an active city area, we are lucky to have a beautiful, large and green site which nestles in the heart of our community. Our aim is to ensure that our children are given every opportunity to flourish and to exceed expectations.

As you would expect, children are at the heart of everything we do at Tanners Brook – we are so proud of every single child who learns and develops with us. We are privileged to be able to shape the lives of our children and to equip them with the values we hold dear: being thoughtful, having self-belief, persevering, and challenging ourselves to succeed.

These values underpin everything we do.

Our vision of every child striving for their personal best means that we are proud to equip our children and staff with the skills, qualities and values they need to make this happen and to develop a lifelong love of learning.

Further details about the role

Tanners Brook Primary School would like to appoint a dedicated classroom teacher to join the Lower Key Stage 2 team in June 2025. The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher, with a passion for their profession, the ability to inspire, to work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and students, and to be committed to continually raising the standards of learning and teaching in our Trust.
In addition, the importance of being a reflective practitioner, with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, and being able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum will be key to success in this role.

For teachers with a strongly rooted inclusive approach and a commitment to meeting the needs of all groups of learners regardless of aptitude or barriers to learning, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly committed, professional, and friendly team.

If you wish to apply for this post, please review our full job description and person specification and then please complete our teaching application form.

Commitment to safeguarding

The HISP Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.

All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring checks along with other relevant employment checks. We are also committed to providing equality of opportunity at all stages of the recruitment and selection process and ensuring that candidates are treated fairly and lawfully throughout the process.
