My client is a well respected and highly rated eCommerce Agency with multiple Certifications across all their platforms. With nearly 20 years in the industry, they are in the process of growing even further, and as such, are looking for a Strong Frontend Engineer to join their team.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Frontend Magento Developer to join my client’s development team to work on existing client stores and new builds from scratch using Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce). The role is a full-time permanent position.

The role is split between new project builds developing customisations and integrations, alongside working on a handful of client stores developing new features and ongoing maintenance.

You will work with internal teams including the Account Management team, Project Managers, and Designers to ensure projects are developed according to the brief/instructions.

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll be building custom themes, Frontend functionality, Third-Party system integrations through APIs, and ongoing site bug fixing and maintenance.

Experience of working within a design heavy environment will be useful including system integrations and front-end integrations but isn’t a must. As the company is certified in multiple different CMS’s, you will have the chance to upskill on other platforms if you want to.

What experience you’ll need
  • At least 3 years’ experience developing Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) projects.
  • Frontend development using HTML, CSS, CSS Pre-Processors, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks (React, Knockout, etc), & PHP.
  • Development of custom themes.
  • Integration and customisation of Third-Party APIs.
  • Development of APIs and third-party system integrations.
  • Ideally experience with APIs/interfaces between Frontend & Backend (headless).
  • Basic Backend development using SQL Databases, MVC, and Cloud Computing as an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Punctual and good time management.
  • Excellent communication skills to help explain complex and technical aspects simply.
  • Ability to learn from others and teach other team members.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

Salary range between £45k - £55k DOE, with flexitime, 100% remote working, and a personalised training package in addition to multiple employee perks and becoming part of an agency that is incredibly well funded and growing in all areas. You’ll also have full ownership of your clients, R&D time, and the space to really develop your ideas in a supportive and creative environment.
