Teacher Intern into Apprentice
What skills and experience we're looking for
This role offers the opportunity to work for a year as a Teacher Intern leading to the Apprenticeship route to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with The Cambridge Partnership, known as the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) If you are a graduate, or about to graduate, with relevant experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs or with a commitment to training to teach within a specialist environment, we would like to hear from you.Please see [...]/ for entry requirements.
The successful applicant will initially work as an Intern alongside an experienced Teacher. Then, subject to successful completion of the intern year (2025-26) and gaining a place on the Postgraduate Apprenticeship route, as an Apprentice Teacher from July 2026 until July 2027 to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with The Cambridge Partnership (PGTA) This is a temporary role.To gain further experience, there may be an opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant before the internship starts. Salary range for Intern: £24,790-£26,835 (Actual £20,656-£22,360) Salary for Apprenticeship: £21,731 (UQT1)
