Hays is happy to be partnering with a medium-sized chartered accountancy firm based in Glasgow city centre. The firm is currently experiencing a period of growth and therefore is looking to expand its payroll team. Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, including monthly payroll runs. Your duties will involve analysing data, identifying variances, and preparing reports for management. You will handle bank journals, reconcile payroll accounts, administer year-end returns, and make payments to third parties.Additionally, you will manage various payroll matters such as P45s and P60s. Experience with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and P11Ds would be advantageous.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will be:
- relevant experience working in a bureau
- proficient in Sage
- ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
