To carry out the full range of Portering duties. To respond to tasks allocated the Endoscopy department in line with department procedures. Transportation of patients between wards/departments. To move items of furniture/equipment within the department Visually and verbally risk-assess every patient prior to carrying out any clinical investigation.
Assist with maintaining daily records and statistics of clinical activity. Occasional exposure to distressing circumstance e.g. vulnerable/aggressive patients and whilst carrying out mortuary duties
