We are collaborating with a school in South Shields that has a significant need for Special Needs Teaching Assistants for both long-term and permanent roles. We recruit throughout the year to meet this demand. Through our Teaching Assistant Internship, you will receive accredited training to become a qualified Teaching Assistant, all while being paid to gain valuable, hands-on experience as a member of the school staff.- Full-Time Availability: You should be able to commit to both training and working full-time.
- Daily Commute: Must be able to travel to the school in South Shields each day.
- Special Needs Interest: A keen interest in working in a Special Needs school environment.
- Enhanced DBS: Prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS if you do not already have one.
- Training Commitment: Willingness to complete the required training.
- Provide two referees we can contact.
- Hold a DBS certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
