Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant - York
My client, a large, accomplished Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their team of expert engineers, based in the bustling city of Leeds.Essential Criteria:- A Bachelor/s or Baster/s Degree in Geography, or similar discipline (or the equivalent relevant experience)- Extensive experience within flood risk and drainage, including experience with design guidance considering relevant laws and regulations- Demonstrable project management experience- Experience liaising with a range of clients across the sector, and an acute commercial awareness- Good working knowledge of software packages, including MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, QGIS (and other GIS software), etc.It would also benefit applicants for the role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following:- Chartered Membership of a Professional Body (or actively working toward Chartered Status)- Excellent communication skills when liaising with colleagues and other stakeholders- The ability to prioritise well, with good time management skillsIn your new role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join an outstanding team of experts in the field, with extensive opportunities to develop your career through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
