About the Role:Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Newport.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored support to students with various special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support the development of students' social skills and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom activities and resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
- No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.90.
