We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and motivated Emergency Department to start ASAP.
Working in the ED with direct shop floor supervision from our 11 consultants. The post offers protected weekly departmental teaching and benefits from educational supervision by a consultant as well as many other educational opportunities on shift.

The post holder will provide clinical, administrative, supervisory, educational and training support for the day-to-day functioning of the department. The purpose of the post is to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to each individual patient who attends the Emergency Department.The prime responsibility of the post holder will be clinical cover of the shop floor. A full shift system is operational to cover the department on a 24-hour basis. The post holder will be expected to participate fully in this rota. Further duties include the provision of GP letters within 24 hours of the patient presenting in the department, teaching, participation in Medical Audit and designated management commitments as agreed with the Clinical Supervisor.
