The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
As a Waiter, your main role will be to:- welcome guests in a friendly and engaging manner
- demonstrate excellent knowledge of food and beverage menus to guests
- provide prompt, friendly and efficient service
- personalise and engage with guests at every opportunity
- maximise sales opportunities, upsell where appropriate
- create an emotional engagement with guests, thus creating exceptional memories
- be responsible for ensuring bills are dealt with accurately
- maximise service delivery opportunities
- excellent knowledge of food & beverage, in particular afternoon tea
- previous experience in a similar 5* environment
- flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
- confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
- ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
- excellent attention to detail
- clear conversational English language, knowledge of foreign languages is beneficial
