Head of Finance - International Development Charity

About Our Client

The organisation is a globally recognised charity based in London. They are looking for a Head of Finance to join their finance team of 20.

• Leading the finance department and overseeing all financial operations.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the charity's objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Preparing financial reports and statements for the board of trustees.
• Managing the charity's budget and forecasting financial trends.
• Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
• Representing the charity in financial meetings and negotiations.
• Promoting financial understanding and responsibility across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Finance' must:

• Be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Have Charity/NFP experience
• Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within a large international charity
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team
• Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills
• Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting
• Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to financial discussions

• A competitive daily rate between £400 to £600
