Radiology Support Worker

To assist the Radiologist, Radiographer or Nurse during patient examinations, assisting in the efficient control of workflow patterns within the department. To support patients during their visit to Radiology, being aware of their needs and escalating issues to qualified staff as appropriate To support the delivery of high standards of patient care Must have good interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with patients/public, a wide variety of staff, including all radiology personnel, medical staff, nurses, healthcare professionals, support staff, and visitingequipment engineers To have a basic understanding of the procedures carried out, in order to bestsupport patients through the process.
