Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to join our partnership schools in the Stockport area.
In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing additional support and intervention
- Support the class teacher in delivering exciting and engaging lessons, preparing resources and supporting with cases of challenging behavior
- Supervise breaks and lunch times, making sure children are safe and secure
- And much more!
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience, either paid or voluntary
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD
- Good subject knowledge across a variety of curriculum subjects including English, Maths and Science
- The ability to be proactive and use your own initiative within the classroom
- Full time availability within school hours
