Machine Operative

Manpower are currently looking to recruit a Machine Operative for one of our clients based close to North Thoresby.

Initially, this will be a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm role before moving on to 12-hour shifts, spread across mid-week. Once you are fully trained you will then move onto a shift pattern and a permanent position after a successful 12-week probationary period.

You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality plastic products, operate machinery, follow production schedules, conduct quality control checks and maintain production documentation with extra hours on offer for the right candidate.

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is essential
• Candidates who hold their FLT/ Counterbalance licence are preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
