Job Purpose

Due to recent expansion within the Channel team, we are recruiting a desk-based Channel Account Manager. This role will be responsible for the overall development of relationships between channel partners and Focus. They are expected to establish and build long term relationships with existing and new channel partners to increase revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Identify revenue & margin opportunity within an existing base of established customers.
  • Cross sell and upsell Focus’ products and services to that base.
  • Liaise internally with departments within Focus to ensure that the service provided is of the highest standard.
  • Proactively manage and report progress of key sales opportunities through Focus’ CRM system.
  • Negotiate commitment & growth deals.
  • Provide telephone-based sales support to Channel Partners and external Channel BDMs.
  • Provide ongoing sales and technical training to these partners.
  • Build account development plans for key partners.
Skills
  • Numerate and literate to a very high standard.
  • PC Skills to intermediate level – especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Highly articulate and presentable.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Motivated self-starter.·
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A good commercial acumen.
