Cleaning Senior Supervisor

What you’ll do:
- Train and provide guidance to cleaning staff on cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assign cleaning duties, inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, and report any issues to the appropriate department.
- Will require having IT experience ie Word, Power point, Excel worksheets, as part of your role will include a certain amount of Admin support.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other related materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Perform administrative duties, including scheduling, attendance management, performance evaluations, and handling personnel matters.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, to address specialised cleaning needs and resolve any facility-related issues promptly.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity while maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors, responding promptly and effectively to cleanliness-related concerns or inquiries.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
- Solid knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices, equipment, and chemicals.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed to effectively interact with staff, students, and visitors.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety precautions while operating them.
