The post-holder will be required to provide the full range of obstetric skills which are based around Fetal Medicine, such as managing the Labour Ward, Antenatal clinics (including Rainbow clinic), Section Lists, and Maternity Assessment Unit in collaboration with existing consultants and within the multi-disciplinary team.
The post will have 2 sessions per week of Fetal Medicine scanning and time allocated for Scan Simulation training lead. The applicant will also be expected to participate in the trust leadership programmes and be supported to assume leadership of the premature birth service which also functions as the regional centre for pan Staffordshire maternity services.
