Management Accountant
Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently seeking a Management Accountant for a temporary position with our client based in Staplehurst. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who is ready to take on challenging tasks and start immediately.
Management Accountant Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Engage with stakeholders to report on financial status and progress.
Management Accountant Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
