The post

The Department of Health and Community Science wishes to recruit a Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow to the Getting Recovery Right After Neck Dissection for Head and Neck Cancer (GRRAND) study, a National Institute of Health Research funded randomised controlled clinical trial.
This trial evaluates clinical and cost-effectiveness of a personalised, physiotherapy-led, rehabilitation intervention (the GRRAND programme) compared to best practice NHS, post-discharge care for adults undergoing neck dissection for head and neck cancer.

Using mixed method approaches the successful applicant will evaluate physiotherapists’ training experiences; monitor fidelity of intervention delivery (by physiotherapists) and engagement and uptake (by patients) to inform what works for whom and in what contexts.
