Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the CEO to ensure all company accounts balances at month and year end
- Production of accounts to trial balance and assist in the preparation of year end accounts
- Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices
- Recording receipts and payment transactions
- Process funding form a variety of sources
- Meeting with clients and stakeholders
- Balancing cash and reconciling bank accounts
- Reconciling nominal ledger accounts, creditors and debtors
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in financial administration or bookkeeping
- Thorough understanding of debits and credits
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools
- A good understanding of financial procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage deadlines effectively and independently
- A commitment to supporting the goals of a Not For Profit organisation
- A competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
