Residential Sales Manager
Zip Water is a global pioneer of filtered drinking water solutions with a offer for the home kitchen that includes filtered boiling, chilled, and sparkling water. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting permanent opening within our Sales team for a Residential Sales Manager.
This is a newly created hybrid role taking in both (1) high-end-kitchen showrooms and (2) specifiers of luxury-high-end-residential developments.
Our ideal candidate has a home base in the Greater Manchester area and will achieve a client-base of Kitchen Designers, Interior Designers, Interior Architects, Property Developers, Specifiers and Kitchen Showrooms in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area.
Requirements
What this role involves:
- Drive delivery of both the monthly and annual sales targets and build our future revenue stream, based on our amazing credentials, patented technology, and after-sales care packages
- Retain existing business – manage existing relationships & revenues of accounts within your portfolio
- Owning all Specification touch points during projects and feeding back accurate data into the project tracking system (CRM)
- Escalating issues through the appropriate channels and finding solutions to ensure effective resolution to retain business
- Ensure call cycle activity is maintained and is reflective of account priority and size to ensure retention of business
- Increase specification from existing accounts
- Utilising solution selling techniques to identify opportunities for all products in the Zip product range
- Maintain and grow new and existing business relationships
- Work towards your Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and demonstrate an understanding of how you will achieve these in your 1-1 reviews
- Plan efficiently and organise your time to ensure you achieve expected sales outcomes
- Work effectively and flexibly with all other team members to meet targets across the full portfolio of products and services
- Maintain customer account information by recording all activity, data, and issues on the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Work with internal teams to ensure all customer queries are resolved seamlessly by Zip
- Site visits and Prospecting – able to carry out detailed site surveys to ensure a high first-time installation rate.
- Networking - To network with relevant FM companies/end user contacts to ‘join the dots’ to build a complete picture of a key account.
What we're looking for:
- Negotiation skills – naturally persuades and influences customers whilst representing company interest to achieve a win.
- Managing data – with a high level of attention to detail accurately records and maintains customer data in Sales Force and compliant with GDPR guideline.
- Lead/case management – successfully nurtures and converts all leads and cases allocated in a timely manner.
- Objection Handling – handles challenges from customers e.g. competition, price to secure customer business as well as complaints.
- Problem Solving – considers all potential causes and underlying causes of a problem and utilises all available skills and resources to fix the problem and prevent future reoccurrence.
- Utilises modern and current prospecting methods to research customers as well as identify new opportunities e.g. LinkedIn and existing contact networks.
