Regional Operations Manager - North England

The Salvation Army operates Modern Slavery contracted services on behalf of the Home Office to deliver care and support services to adult victims of Modern Slavery in England & Wales. Frontline support is delivered via a combination of subcontracted partners and The Salvation Army itself (self-delivered services).

This is delivered through dedicated supported accommodation or outreach work to clients in their local communities.

We are looking for a strong, successful and resilient leader to join our Regional team. You will be responsible for the leadership, growth and delivery of our safehouse and outreach services.
You will predominately be responsible for our services within the North of the Territory, regularly traveling between our sites.
The role is fast paced and often pressurised, having a passion for supporting vulnerable clients to rebuild their lives ensures you will find the role extremely rewarding.

You will provide effective leadership to all outreach services under the self-delivered services contract, ensuring support is provided to a consistently high standard. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities to develop outreach services which are responsive to the needs of the contract and contributes towards achieving The Salvation Army’s broader organisational objectives.

As the Regional Operations Manager, you will have experience in multisite and remote leadership and will bring a strong set of leadership skills that includes successful team development and growth.

You will have superb people skills and the ability to communicate and create strategy at a senior management level. You will have a proven track record in the development of a strategic business plan, experience of managing service contracts, budget management and people management and development skills.

Having direct operational experience of working with vulnerable people would be an advantage but is not essential. Most importantly, you will be able to demonstrate a passion for transforming the lives of people who have been affected by modern slavery.
