Practice Manager
Our client has a permanent, part-time vacancy for a Practice Manager to handle a diverse and challenging workload to support the delivery of legal services.
The role requires 22 – 25 hours per week and comes with hybrid working.
Duties may include but not be limited to:
- management of the back office;
- recruitment of staff;
- advice on regulatory compliance including AML, SRA, SAR’s and full CLC compliance;
- organisation of the firm’s practising certificates;
- human resources management;
- attending partners meetings;
- Continuing development and training across the practice
- developing organisational and performance systems and processes and procedures;
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to find solutions to complex issues will therefore be essential. This is a hands-on role suited to a dedicated professional who thrives under pressure and would like to become an integral part of a practices continued success.
Applicants should ideally have:
- previous relevant experience within the legal environment
- A comprehensive understanding of Solicitor Regulatory Authority (SRA) and CLC compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong IT skills
