Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle a high-volume caseload of motor recoveries files, including pre-litigated and litigated cases, under the supervision of senior team members.
- Client Communication: Liaise effectively with clients, third parties, and opposing solicitors to progress cases and support the team in meeting client expectations.
- Legal Research and Drafting: Assist with legal research and draft correspondence, pleadings, and court documents as necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal procedures, policies, and timelines in case handling.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records, case files, and documents to support efficient case management and tracking.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other paralegals and legal professionals within the Motor Recoveries Team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
Essential- Prior experience in a paralegal role
- A law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with case management systems.
- A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
- Experience working within a motor recoveries or insurance team. Knowledge of motor claims processes and procedures is highly desirable.
- High level of financial and commercial awareness
