Job Title: KS1 General Teaching Assistant Location:
North West England, Lancashire, Chorley
£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour- Supporting the class teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
- Preparing classroom materials and resources
- Supervising students during break times and outings
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience
- Enhanced DBS check
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational setting- Understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Patience and empathy towards students
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First aid training
- Part-Time hours
- Temporary contract
- Work within a school setting
- Collaboration with teachers and other teaching staff
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
