We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;
  • James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
  • Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
  • The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

The EPR Training Project Manager will lead on the delivery of the training strategy and plans on behalf of the Transformation and Adoption Programme Manager (T&A Programme Manager) and the EPR leadershipteamfor the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospitals’ (NWAHC) implementation of the MEDITECH Expanse EPR system.

This will include managing major projects such as deploying a new LMS across the three Trusts to support training rollout, room identification and kit out for training as well as recruiting resources to deliver training.

The Training Project Manager will be responsible for determining required training resources, securing facilities and equipment for classroom training across the three acute hospitals.

The responsibilities will include planning of the training curriculum development and validation, training materials, staff allocation to appropriate training courses and activities, the Training Credentialling Programme and end user training scheduling and delivery to over 18,000 staff across NWAHC three acute hospitals.
