Clinical Lead Nurse - Care Home Olney, Buckinghamshire

I am looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to work in a home offering top-class nursing, residential and dementia care in the peaceful historic marker town of Olney, This 66 bed nursing home is the embodiment of elegance and luxury living, combining superb facilities, designed with resident wellbeing in mind.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical care is provided to residents
• Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team.
• Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team
• Ability to make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
• A passion for promoting best nursing practice and able to train, support and mentor others.
• A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance.

For this great post you will need:

• Active NMC nursing pin (RGN or RMN)
• Previous Clinical Lead experience
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams
• Diplomacy and objectivity when dealing with patients and staff
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of resident data management systems
• A commitment to delivering resident-focused care
