Sheffield Ford / Rotherham PDI Centre
Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00
OTE up to £38,000 including basic of £28,000 to £32,000 (depending on experience)
Our PDI Centre in Rotherham is looking to add a Supervisor to our PDI team. As an Supervisor for our Centre, you will play an important role working closely with the Service Manager, Advisors and Technicians in order to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
On a day to day basis you will be a key part of ensuring the PDI Service department is operating smoothly by managing all the service related administration and liaising with the Service Advisors & Workshop team. You will also be dealing with some inbound service calls, calling customers back with updates, ensuring all required documents are completed.The Service team will be giving you ongoing support to ensure that you have the tools needed to perform to the very best of your ability! This role is business critical to maintain the operation of the PDI and delivery of all new vehicle from our Rotherham compound which supplies both fleet operations on multiple brands and also our new car and commercial Dealerships.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage customer communication through repairs with timely progress updates and gaining authorisation for additional work
- Add-hoc administration tasks as given from the Aftersales Manager
- Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
- You will be responsible for the timely process of warranty claims within manufacturer guidelines and ensure the accuracy of all warranty and goodwill claim submissions daily
- In addition, you will monitor daily, weekly and monthly warranty reports to ensure that are compliant with company policy
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Someone who can work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands, identify priorities and, schedule work appropriately.The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional manner, they will act with integrity, discretion, and objectivity. They will be able to meet deadlines without compromising on the quality of work.
Our Centre Supervisor will have experience gained from a leading automotive dealer in a Management or Supervisor role. Technical knowledge would be an advantage also.
