Management Accountant
Resourcery Group is partnering with a Not-for-Profit organisation in the Preston area, seeking a permanent Management Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing Management Accounts and will be fully AAT qualified, with a desire to pursue a professional accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
This role will be a part of the management accounts team, responsible for delivering monthly management accounts, supporting the Annual Budgeting process, and the quarterly Forecast. You will work closely with other finance professionals, building strong relationships with your peers such as the finance business partners and transactional team.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including pre-payments, accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Generate reports for internal insights
- Collaborate with finance business partners to support their needs
- Analyse data and present findings to finance and non-finance individuals
- Complete ad hoc tasks as needed
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar position and demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
