Production Operative

Hours : 39 hours per week

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 2:00pm and Fridays 6:00am to 1:00pm

Pay Structure: Weekly paid - £11.44 per hour

Debar Ltd is a leading UK- based company specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high quality bi-fold door hardware solutions for leading fabricators and system houses. We are now seeking to recruit a Production operative to join the team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining factory machinery and equipment
• Assembling products using hand tools, various press machines including spin riveters
• Following SOP`s
• Inspecting and testing components to ensure they meet specifications and requirements of each product.
• Boxing, and labelling finished products.
• Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ensuring individual daily targets are reached.
• Following and advocating safety procedures and health and safety regulations
• Keeping work areas and factory floor clean and free from hazardous materials

• Previous knowledge of factory production lines, e.g. basic engineering experience, quality experience etc.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, equipment, and materials used in production a plus.
• Familiar with working in fast paced environment
