Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging volunteers and staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of volunteers and staff.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Volunteer and Education, Training and Employment (ETE) Team Leader to join our Manchester Service.

This role will require you to develop a strong volunteering and ETE offer within our services.You will be working in close collaboration with local service management, volunteers, colleagues and service users to identify how volunteers can enhance the service offer, ensuring that volunteering brings value to the services we provide and our services value and develop our volunteers.

You will also lead our ETE team to support our service users in gaining education, training and employment, developing the ETE service as well as the team.

Where: Manchester
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)

Responsibilities:

About the role:

The role aims to empower our volunteers and team members to reach their full potential. No two days are the same so being flexible, able to manage multiple tasks and workstreams are key.
  • Work in collaboration with service manager and staff team in order to identify meaningful opportunities for volunteers.
  • Coordination of the volunteering offer.
  • Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of volunteers.
  • Leading the ETE project and team, developing and performance managing the service provided.
  • Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Experience of leading teams who work with vulnerable adults.
  • Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice.
  • Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.
  • Volunteer coordination experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
