Walker and Sloan are working with a well known marketing agency in Oxfordshire, as they are keen to bring on a Senior Software Engineer to the team on a full time basis, with the requirement of coming into the offices twice a week.
Senior Software Engineer -up £60,000 - Hybrid (2 days in office)

The package- Up to £60,000 salary, negotiable based on experience.
- A monetary bonus paid annually (approx. 10% of your salary)
- Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 from home.
- A commitment to training and development - you'll receive a £500 per year training budget, which can be spent on courses, exhibitions, talks, etc. Further budget is available case by case.

The role
You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technology for websites (database and application) and Python-driven Tableau applications. You'll play a critical role within the web development teams and be responsible for handling data storage and ensuring content gets delivered.
What does the day-to-day look like?- Building and maintaining web applications
- Building and maintaining tableau scrips or dashboards
- Building and maintaining React Native mobile application
- Building reusable code for future use
- Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Building and maintaining unit tests
- Troubleshooting and debugging
- Testing the applications and websites you build
