WE HAVE AN EXCITING FULL TIME POSITION FOR AN ENGLISH TEACHER IN THE B46 AREA OF WARWICKSHIRE!
The team at Teaching Personnel are working in close partnership with an OFSTED rated "Good" mainstream, secondary school in Coleshill to appoint a qualified English teacher on a full time basis, with immediate effect.
Location: Coleshill, B46Rate of Pay: To scale (For all fully qualified teachers)
Hours: Full Time (term-time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Person Specification:
- QTS in Secondary English teaching
- PGCE completed
- Experience teaching English Language and English Literature
- Excellent knowledge of the UK national curriculum for English
- Experience of planning and marking
- Confident with behaviour management style
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons to suit the diverse needs of each class, adhering to national curriculum guidance
- Assess pupils development and monitor progression on a regular basis
- Provide informative and positive feedback for pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department
- Contribute to wider school community through engagement with extra curricular activities
