We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team and support a leading client in the banking and finance industry. This role focuses on repairing and organising legacy database data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for future AI development initiatives.
This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking a work-life balance. Comprehensive training will be provided on the client’s specific systems and processes, so prior experience in the banking sector is not essential.However, a strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy are critical.
Key Responsibilities- Review, clean, and repair legacy database data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies in financial records.
- Input and update data into the client’s systems with a high degree of precision.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure data is structured and formatted for future AI development.
- Adhere to strict data security and confidentiality protocols, in line with banking and finance industry standards.
- Meet daily and weekly targets for data repair and entry.
- Report any systemic issues or anomalies to the project manager.
Requirements
Essential & Desirable Skills and Experience- Proven experience in data entry, data cleaning, or a similar role desired.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data entry tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
- Basic understanding of data security and confidentiality principles.
- Familiarity with banking or financial systems and terminology.
- Experience working with legacy databases or outdated systems.
- Interest in or understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
