Catering Assistant, Houghton Hall Garden Centre - Carlisle

We are looking for a Full Time Temporary Catering Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Houghton Hall Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £9.58 to £11.46 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 40 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.

This is a temporary role until approx Jan 2025.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you have a responsibility to support the kitchen team for prepare fabulous meals to order for our customers.

• Support in all areas of food production working with fresh ingredients.
• Preparing hot and cold snacks and deli items to order.
• Carry out food preparation checks in line with food hygiene safety standards
• Cleaning of all back of house and kitchen preparation areas and equipment.
• Closing back of house area each day to our company standards.

• Excellent communication skills.
