Reliability Engineer
My Client, a leading food manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, are looking to appoint a Reliability Engineer with FMCG experience to ensure their machinery is operating at peak performance with minimum downtime. This opportunity is perfect for somebody who is self-motivated, driven and organised.
Shift: Monday to Friday DAYSJob title: Reliability Engineer
Reporting into the Chief Engineer you will initially be well supported in learning the machinery and establishing a clear plan/targets with regard to machinery reliability and KPI Targets to ensure you both have a clear understanding of what is possible.
Realiability Engineer - Key responsibilities - Food, Maintenance, TPM, FMCG, Breakdowns, Asset Care- Asset Care Management
- Responsibility for PPM schedule for the department
- Ensure downtime of machinery is minimised
- Suggest improvements to machinery to enhance performance
- Root cause analysis of current/potential issues and communicate well with management.
- Communicating with Production in a professional manner to identify where efficiencies can be improved.
- Have a relevant Degree/Qualification
- Previous experience in FMCG, preferably Food Manufacturing
- Previously examples of improving machinery reliability / Asset Care Management in a similar environment
- Be willing to be flexible to suit the business
