Your new roleThis role is a broad, busy and hands-on position. Core responsibilities include:> Bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations
> Aged credit and debtor reporting at month's end> Processing invoices and ensuring they are matched against purchase orders, following up where there are discrepancies.
> Preparing supplier payment runs.
> VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
> Previous experience of working in a similar Accounts Assistant position, preferable from a small / medium-sized enterprise.> Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.> Able to prioritise work and flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
> Flexibility and quick to learn new tasks.
> High attention to detail.
