Teaching Assistant (Bradford Area) - Veritas Education

Veritas Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting partner schools across the Bradford area. If you're enthusiastic about working with young people and making a difference in the classroom, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

• Provide classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to offer targeted support.
• Assist with behaviour management and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Help students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
• Support teachers with administrative tasks such as marking, record-keeping, and classroom organisation.

• Experience working with children or in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and parents.
• The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
