Complex Care Support Worker
Location: Southampton
Salary: Starting from £13.60 per hour PLUS an additional £62.64 per sleep in which equates to 3K - 6K per year extra
Hours: Full time 39 hours week working a shift pattern which includes long days and sleep ins.
Personal care is required as part of this role.
Full UK Drivers licence is required
We are looking for a resilient, nurturing children's support worker to become part of our unique home, caring for young people who have complex medical needs, Learning disabilities and Autism and are wheelchair users. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

Experience in care such as adult LD, SEN education, medical or nursing care, elderly care or working with vulnerable people is essentialWe want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.

Physically able to lift and use hoists, manual handling is part of this job.
Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-insWhat does the job involve?

Provide medical support which includes physio routines, medication, peg feeding, moving and handling, hoists and lifting equipment.
