Ward 4 is a General Medicine ward with specialty of Care of the Elderly. Patients are treated for a wide-range of acute conditions, and as healthcare professionals, we are at the forefront of providing the care, dignity, and support people deserve.
Hours per week: 37.5 (part-time also available)

Main duties of the job
The role of a Staff Nurse is to support in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Staff Nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care, delivered using a holistic, patient-focused approach, while ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, team working skills and some knowledge of common medical conditions to join our busy unit. We will support your development in the post through personal development planning, excellent training opportunities and will support you to broaden your experience, skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Good standard of general education
- Current first level registration in General / Adult nursing
- Acute Medicine experience
Knowledge
