Communicate is partnering with a leading FTSE-listed manufacturing company in search of an Interim External Reporting Director. This well-established firm boasts international operations and a continually expanding product range.
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and oversee group accounting, external reporting, and the preparation of the group annual report. You will lead a dedicated team throughout this process, making prior experience in group functions and demonstrated management capabilities essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee group accounts and reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Ensure all deliverables are prepared on time and meet the highest standards.
- Proactively identify new filing and audit requirements and prepare accordingly.
- Engage early in any acquisitions to ensure compliance with filing obligations.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house tax department.
Requirements:
- ACA qualification with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a reporting function, ideally at a director or head-of level.
- Proven track record in a FTSE-listed organisation.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills.
