• Lead and manage the audit team during audits and control consulting engagements.
• Oversee the completion of audit assignments ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timescales.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are managed and met.
• Contribute to the development and training of audit team members.
• Identify and recommend potential business opportunities for new and existing clients.
• Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Act as a point of reference for technical and sector knowledge.
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
• Proven experience in audit and assurance within a business services environment.
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients.
• Strong technical abilities and experience of UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Excellent team leadership abilities and experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven project management skills.
