Quality Controller - Food

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Controller to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As a key member of the quality assurance team, the Quality Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions to uphold product integrity.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform sensory evaluations, measurements, and tests to assess product quality, consistency, and shelf-life.
- Identify and document any deviations or non-conformities, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and maintain quality control records, including documentation of inspections, test results, and product specifications.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, and work with cross-functional teams to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Previous experience in a quality control role within the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and GMP principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with quality control software is an advantage.
