Building Physics Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

This is an exciting role for an experienced professional passionate about creating sustainable building solutions and improving the built environment.

The Building Physics Engineer selected will be:

• Conducting detailed building performance simulations and energy modelling for a variety of projects.
• Provide advice on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, daylighting, and environmental impacts of buildings.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet sustainability and performance goals.
• Deliver reports and recommendations based on building physics analysis and simulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical, innovative solutions.

Requirements to be considered for this Building Physics Engineer role:

• Degree in Building Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a building physics role and familiar with building performance simulation software (e.g., IES, DesignBuilder, or similar).
• Strong understanding of building regulations, energy codes, and sustainability standards.
• Live in or near to Leeds.
