A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Building Physics Engineer to join a leading built environment consultancy in Leeds. Our client is at the forefront of delivering sustainable, innovative, and high-performance projects, with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental impact.This is an exciting role for an experienced professional passionate about creating sustainable building solutions and improving the built environment.
The Building Physics Engineer selected will be:
- Conducting detailed building performance simulations and energy modelling for a variety of projects.
- Provide advice on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, daylighting, and environmental impacts of buildings.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet sustainability and performance goals.
- Deliver reports and recommendations based on building physics analysis and simulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical, innovative solutions.
Requirements to be considered for this Building Physics Engineer role:
- Degree in Building Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in a building physics role and familiar with building performance simulation software (e.g., IES, DesignBuilder, or similar).
- Strong understanding of building regulations, energy codes, and sustainability standards.
- Live in or near to Leeds.
