Teacher of Religious Education

Lea Valley Academy is an 11-19 academy with 880 students on roll. Lea Valley Academy is a member of the EDACT Trust.

We are aiming to recruit a committed and ambitious teacher of Religious Education with excellent subject knowledge. Religious Education is a popular subject taught at KS3 and KS4 with a recently introduced and successful compulsory GCSE. You would also be joining a Humanities team where (dependent on the skillset and experience) you have the opportunity to teach Sociology, Health and Social Care and Psychology at KS5.

We are looking for an individual who will be able continue to raise standards and performance across key stages 3, 4 & 5 and ensure a positive learning environment throughout the Faculty. This is a unique opportunity for a talented teacher with the ambition, drive, and desire to deliver the school’s vision and become a valued member of our school community.
