Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored one-on-one and group support for students with complex needs, such as ASD, PMLD, sensory impairments, or other additional needs.
- Assist the class teacher in creating and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Build positive relationships with students to support their confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Help students with personal, social, and emotional development.
- Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, feeding, or other individual requirements when necessary.
- Adapt learning strategies and resources to meet the unique needs of each student.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with complex needs (essential).
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN-related training) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
