About us

Updown is a magical farmstead with acres of beautiful garden and woodland situated just outside Deal, Kent.
We’re looking for an experienced front of house team-member to join us in delivering a friendly, intimate service with a keen attention to quality and detail at this exciting juncture.
The right candidate will be experienced in working to very high standard, have a strong appreciation for F&B, be reliable & have a positive mind-set.

Personality and professionalism is something we welcome and encourage and we’re looking forward to welcoming new staff members who enjoy working in a small & friendly team that champion the produce they serve and the atmosphere they create.

Main responsibilities:

Playing a key role in delivering exceptional & authentic guest experience
Taking food and beverage orders
Tending to needs of service
Be adept at answering customer queries & requests
Clearing and cleaning tables
Setting up and closing down before and after service
Understanding and being mindful of food safety and hygiene

We’re set in a rural location, so your own car or reliable alternative is required.

Weekend working required.

Hourly rate subject to experience. Up to £14.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
