Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior school experience or aspiring future teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teaching staff, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. You will deliver pre-planned lesson materials, maintain classroom discipline, and provide support to students as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes across various subjects and year groups.
- Ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in learning activities.
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Supporting students with their learning and addressing any queries they may have.
- Liaising with teaching staff and senior leadership as required.
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Previous experience working in a school environment or a strong desire to pursue a career in teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
