The post-holder will act as a facilitator and administrator for the clinical education team, working closely with External Stakeholders, Clinical educators, HEI Partners and occasionally learners to allocate and enable access to placements, facilitate learning programs and resolve concerns in a timely and effective way, in order to achieve the best possible outcome for all learners and the Clinical Education Team(CET).

The post-holder will have a key role within the CET in delivering a quality clinical education service and will have specific responsibility for administration of placements to support the responsible Clinical Educator for each education programme.

The post holder will support the CET and Head of service with the continuing professional development (CPD) portfolio, admin, note taking and producing of reports as and when required
  1. To support the Clinical Education team. Responsible for facilitating placements. Responsible for monitoring & updating education registers for AHP & Nursing professions including the specialist qualification registers. To act as a first point of liaison between external stakeholders & the internal placement areas ensuring feedback to appropriate clinical educator leads. To raise invoices for CPD funding from study leave forms. To act as initial point of contact for Higher Education Institutes (HEI) for programmes requesting information, facilitating appropriate training & system access and inductions. To attend placement meetings to facilitate and ensure smooth allocation of learners to placement areas. To engage with Trust managers/ key stakeholders to provide appropriate learner placements and the monitoring and evaluation of these placements. Monitor student activity levels for all placements and produce reports for HEE, reporting every three months. Facilitate timely & informal acknowledgement and resolution of problems and concerns raised by assessors, supervisors and tutors specifically from the team inbox or via other means. Log all study leave forms for sign off and liaise with the LEAD team and finance for processing and raising of invoices for CPD funding payments. Monitor new Trust starter lists & send out preceptor packages. Assist with digital system training and registering of new staff onto the PARE/ Pebblepad & other systems.
