This is an exciting opportunity within the Orthoptic and Optometry departments, at the Queens Medical Centre covering the reception across a number of clinical areas, we have a full-time reception role available. The Clinic Receptionists core working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5pm, however, these do vary to include one late clinic per week/one Saturday per month.

You will have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing a first class service to all our patients.

You must be educated to GCSE standard, possess excellent communication skills and be competent in the use of computers systems including Microsoft packages and Careflow .

Working as part of the Orthoptic/optometry team you will be responsible for greeting patients at reception, checking and updating personal details while maintaining patient confidentiality. Using Careflow and other relevant booking systems you will arrange follow-up appointments and update details accurately and efficiently.

You’ll have excellent communication skills and will deal appropriately with enquires both by telephone and in person.
